Some lenders do one thing. Moneytech, which says it has been helping Australian businesses for more than 20 years, has built a shelf of products that can be stacked together: trade finance to pay suppliers, invoice finance to collect faster, a line of credit for day-to-day gaps, term loans, and property and equipment lending behind them. For a wholesaler or manufacturer whose cash is tied up at both ends of the supply chain, that breadth is the main attraction.
The other thing worth knowing up front is that Moneytech’s published loan criteria are firm on credit. This profile works through both, based on Moneytech’s website as at October 2026. Confirm the current detail directly before you rely on it.
What Moneytech publishes, product by product

| Cash Advance (invoice) | $150k to $1m | Up to 80% of invoice value; confidential; direct Xero connection |
| Invoice Finance | $500k to $25m | Draw as needed; tailored pricing and structure |
| Business loans | $25k to $500k | Up to 36 months; approvals typically within 24 hours |
| Line of credit | Up to $500k | Revolving; up to 120 days from each drawdown |
| Secured loans | $100k to $2.5m | First or second mortgage over residential or commercial property |
| Commercial property | $100k to $2.5m | Up to 80% LVR, or 85% when packaged |
| Equipment finance | Not published | Vehicles, yellow goods, plant, medical and scientific equipment |
The credit filter you need to know about
Moneytech’s business loan and line of credit pages list the same core criteria:
- applicants aged 20 or over, and Australian citizens or permanent residents
- GST registration for at least 12 months, which Moneytech uses as its trading-time test
- consistent turnover across 12 months of bank statements
- clean credit history for both the business and its directors
That last point is a clear line. If you have defaults, judgments or a history of late payments, these products are unlikely to be the right first application, and a speculative application only leaves another enquiry on your record. Our guide to bad credit business loans covers lenders that look at blemishes case by case.
The GST test matters too. A business that has traded for two years but only registered for GST eight months ago may not meet it, even though its turnover is fine.
On the positive side, Moneytech says no up-to-date financials are needed to apply for a business loan, which helps owners whose accountant is running behind.
Why packaging products changes the numbers
Moneytech’s property lending rewards customers who also use its working capital products. Its commercial property loans go to 80% of the property’s value on their own, rising to 85% when packaged with its invoice or trade finance. Its secured loan page makes a similar point.
On a $2m warehouse, that five-point difference is $100k of extra borrowing capacity. Whether that’s worth tying your trade and invoice facilities to one lender depends on the pricing of the whole package, so ask for the combined cost in dollars. Our LVR calculator helps you check the property side.
Note the exclusions on commercial property: development sites, property under construction, SMSFs and hybrid trusts are not eligible, and a full tenancy schedule is required.
Would a combined trade, invoice and property package suit your business, or would separate lenders be cheaper? Ask us for a view and we’ll talk it through without a credit check.
Moneytech’s invoice finance: two sizes
Moneytech splits invoice funding into two products. The Cash Advance is the simpler one: $150k to $1m, up to 80% upfront, confidential, and linked straight to Xero without a separate control account. The Invoice Finance facility runs from $500k to $25m and suits larger businesses with established invoicing processes.
Both expect invoices due within 90 days, owed by creditworthy Australian businesses, with proof of delivery. Moneytech also asks for a diverse customer base. Where a single buyer accounts for the bulk of what you’re owed, expect that concentration to limit what you can draw. Our glossary entry on the concentration limit explains why.
Who does Moneytech suit?
- Wholesalers, distributors and importers who need suppliers paid upfront and want 120 days to turn stock into cash. Our page for wholesalers and distributors goes deeper.
- Established businesses with clean credit wanting a straightforward working capital loan of up to $500k.
- Owners of commercial property who’d like to package property and working capital lending together.
- Businesses with a broad, creditworthy customer base and invoices on terms under 90 days.
It’s a harder fit for credit-impaired borrowers, businesses registered for GST under a year, SMSF property buyers and developers.
Questions to ask Moneytech

- If I package products, what happens to pricing and security if I later leave one?
- Which supplier currencies and countries can you pay?

Matching the facility to your supply chain
The best working capital setup depends on where your cash gets stuck: paying suppliers, waiting on customers, or both. Moneytech can cover a lot of that, but its credit and GST tests won’t suit everyone.
If you’d like a straight answer on where you fit, tell us about your business. It’s a quick form, roughly a minute’s work, and submitting it doesn’t trigger any credit enquiry. Your details aren’t fired off to a list of funders to see who answers. Someone on our team considers your situation properly and then calls you. Please be accurate about your credit history and GST registration date, as those two details change the answer more than anything.
